This kitchen was originally designed for a smaller refrigerator and the cabinets were installed 4 inches down off the ceiling. The kitchen remodel included reinstalling all the top cabinets flush with the ceiling. New smaller width cabinets were installed to the left of the refrigerator opening. All the cabinets were re-faced and a matching crown molding was added.
Colonial Second Floor Addition
This colonial started out as cape with two small slanted wall bedrooms and a bath. A second floor addition transformed the second level to include 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. A rear bump out addition created a spacious family room with a cathedral ceiling. The project also included a heating system and electrical upgrade.
Commercial laundromat
As a part of the project team, FitzGerald PMG is responsible for the wall construction, ceiling, and counters in cooperation with the owner and plumbing contractor.
Commercial conference room
This conference room was once open space in a warehouse. The project involved moving a set of stairs, HVAC upgrades, a coffee bar and the addition of two bathrooms. Custom finishes were chosen by the owner.
Whole House Remodel
Our recent work includes a whole house remodel where we demoed the house to the framing and re-configured rooms, making them larger and a more open configuration. A new kitchen and two new baths were added. All the mechanical systems were replaced. The heating system was converted to gas and central air conditioning added. Hardwood floors were added. Some of the existing woodwork was preserved, repaired and painted and much of the original architectural character maintained while using siding and composite materials to eliminate the need for maintenance.
Oak Stairs
New oak stairs with winder and balusters on the lower half, leads to a new second floor addition.

Coastal construction requirements apply for projects 5-8 miles from the coast, add straps, brackets, additional framing, larger floor joists and laminated beams. Plywood inside and outside walls, super insulated. Impact resistant windows. Hurricane zones vary by distance from the ocean. Check with architect or local building department for specific requirements.

This home was upgraded from a small cape, that had a couple of small additions, to a colonial with a family room bump out addition on the back. The roof is new, and the entire house has been insulated and sided.
